Myler & Szczypka, P.C. formerly known as Myler & Associates, P.C. (the Company) began in May of 1989 when David Myler, left Deloitte, Haskins and Sells, and started a sole proprietorship with no clients. The Company first offered accounting, audit, tax and consulting services, specializing in providing services to small businesses. Ken Szczypka joined Mr. Myler and the firm in 2004 as a principal and provided additional value added services to the current and growing client base. Today the Company employs eleven employees and serves over 1000 clients providing business valuation, estate planning, investment management and financial planning services, in addition to core accounting services.
The Company is a member of the AICPA Private Companies Section and on October 8, 2003 received the highest rating on its peer review. The Company is also a member of the AICPA, the MACPA, and the NACVA.
